If the couple desires a more intimate ceremony, The George Allan Suite can fit 70 people and features traditional décor and amazing views of the grounds. These two suites can also be transformed into a reception space. Retire after the day to a completely refurbished Bridal Suite, which is the ideal place to end the celebrations. We love... The Grade I listed French chateau-style building was built from local stone and opened to the public in 1892. Fast forward the years; it now holds all sorts of weddings from traditional to quirky, formal and informal. The museum’s wedding coordinators understand that it’s a privilege to host someone’s wedding, which is why the museum only holds one per day. The team will look after the couple from the first inquiry, right through to waving them off at the end of the night. A stone entrance hall and a sweeping staircase leads guests to the spectacular picture galleries and ceremony spaces. The Music Room can hold a maximum capacity of 64 guests for the ‘I dos’ with a collection of musical instruments and paintings, while the Jubilee Room can fit 100 people with panoramic views.
