I felt like I didn’t stop smiling all day to the point where my cheeks hurt. A memorable part of the day was when the photographer took me and David to the lake for some photos and we spent time together talking about the day. Our two-year-old daughter isn’t keen on David and me holding hands and started to cry in the middle of the ceremony, which made for a funny part of the day. I ask the registrar if I could please take a moment (kids are always unpredictable) and gave her to my mum with a toy to distract her. We had a guitarist playing music throughout the reception to add to the atmosphere and it enabled us to have our first dance. We went to Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa for our minimoon, we both love the lakes and have been many times to climb mountains and on boat trips. It was pure luxury lounging on the underwater loungers in the hydro pool with a glass of prosecco and Peroni.
