Our top tip from the day would be to take five minutes to enjoy time for each other and remember it’s your wedding. Do what makes you happy and remember when planning a wedding in the middle of a pandemic – love is most certainly not cancelled! We got to live stream the main parts of the day for the guests who couldn’t attend – they were able to see and hear everything. The bridesmaids had a blush/mauve Tfnc Ltd halter-neck dress to match the theme and our seamstress was able to make masks with the leftover material from the dresses. My dress was from The Blue Bow Bridal Company in Durham, it was a corset back gown with lace and we added a diamanté belt. I was adamant I was going to have a long simple dress with sleeves and no cleavage. However, the dress I had on was the opposite and I felt different to normal. The groom had a Marc Darcy Jenson suit with tweed blue brogues and blush-pink ties – this matched all the groomsmen. 32
