Rachel says: “We decided to go for drinks one day and the conversation flowed as we had a lot in common – before we knew it, we’d been out for six hours.” She adds: “Finding someone you get on with is always the hope, and it was easy to communicate from day one with Glen, which was a must-have for me.” A big bonus was how well Glen got on with her friends and family; they immediately accepted him and knew he was the perfect person for her. Glen knew Rachel was the one during a holiday in the early stages of their relationship. He says: “Spending time with Rachel was easy and enjoyable – exactly what I was looking for in a relationship!” During a holiday back in June, 2019, Glen asked Rachel to marry him. The pair had just docked at Sardinia on the third day of the trip where they headed to the beach. Rachel comments: “He said, ‘What’s that on the bottom of the sea, it’s something shiny?’ He then pulled out a ring – obviously I said ‘yes’ straight away!” Here Rachel tells us more about their special day… 31 REAL WEDDINGS
