Alexandria and Anthony’s beautiful day was located at South Casuey Inn Images courtesy of Eye of the Tyne Photography A lexandria and Anthony first met through friends. Alexandria says, “I had a girls night with one of my closest friends Hannah who showed me a picture of Anthony, I said he looked good, and we carried on with our night.” Little did she know a week later she would be meeting him on a surprise double date and her friend planned it all. Alexandria adds: “I’d never spoken to him before, so it was a bit of a shocker, we set off to Lola Jeans for some food and we just hit it off – Anthony even did the old stretch and arm around the shoulder trick! It’s a good thing I fancied him! “I didn’t order a starter, which I regretted as soon as the others were eating theirs, but Anthony gave me half of his, and he is a guy that loves his bait – you can win me over with food any day! So, from then on, we knew it was meant to be food bringing us together.” Anthony proposed two days into a holiday in Mexico. Alexandria says: “He asked if we wanted to go for a walk down to the beach. When we got to the walkway, which is a beautiful stretch down to the seafront, out of the blue, he got down one knee and popped the question! I was over the moon and instantly said yes, it was the perfect scene as he knows how much I hate being in crowded areas and made sure it took place in a private setting.” The date was set for February 14 th , 2020, and so the planning began to create their wedding.
