It was everything I always imagined wanting for my wedding dress.” She adds: “I was so happy when all my make-up, hair and dress came together, it was just how I imagined – I felt flawless.” To accompany the bride, three bridesmaids wore one-shoulder floor-length dresses in blush pink while the bridesman had a cream suit. Their daughter wore a beautiful white and pink flowergirl dress while the groom went with a blue checked suit with a cream waistcoat, which made him stand out from the groomsmen. TIME TO CELEBRATE An important part of any special day is entertainment. For Daniel and Katie’s big day, they went with a pianist for the ceremony and drinks reception to add a beautiful atmosphere – everyone commented on how amazing it was. Katie comments: “We had a magician, Paul Lytton, for the end of the wedding breakfast and breaks in-between. For the evening entertainment we had a band called SWITCH.” MEMORABLE MOMENTS The big day was packed full of incredible moments and unforgettable memories. Katie says: “We were both nervous, although mine disappeared when I walked down the aisle to Dan. I remember holding his hand from around the back of a door for a photo before the ceremony and we were both shaking – we never wanted the day to end! “We were so grateful to have family and friends from America and Australia that made it for our wedding. That made it extra special, along with having our little girl by our side. Also seeing my dad all dressed up in a suit is pretty rare – I cried when I saw him.” Another detail that stood out was when Katie’s sister wrote a poem for the speeches, which had everyone laughing. HONEYMOON After the special day, the couple went straight to Liverpool for a few days to spend quality time together and later on jetted off to the Dominican Republic for two weeks. The couple shares their top tip from the day saying: “Try not to stress about the little things; your guests probably won’t even notice them as you do. Choose what you both want, it’s your day after all and you’ll never be able to suit everyone else’s tastes.”
