Your North East Wedding - Mar/Apr 2020 (Issue 37)
I made a flowerwall and based most of my decorations around it. My whole business is about making DIY props for weddings so everything was handmade by me including the love lights, doughnut wall, selfie frame, centerpieces, signs and prosecco wall. We had a tasty pink champagne cake and my sister also made cupcakes in various flavours to go with it. Our centrepieces were spray painted wine bottles and for our place settings I used baby or embarrassing photos of the guests and had them printed onto polaroid’s. The Comb came up whist I searched for wedding venues, I loved the rustic feel and there was lovely accommodation available with 10 en suite bedrooms with the use of large public rooms surrounded by forest and Northumberland National Park. I wore a simple fingertip-length veil with a lace trim and Kate Spade rose gold glitter shoes to finish off the look. Our dog is such an important part of our lives and we knew he had to be included. Upon receiving our photos I was brought to tears by how he was captured on the day. 44
