It’s a family affair Lindsay and Lee made sure their children were involved when it came to their big day Images courtesy of Paul Flannigan Photography Lindsay Moles, 35, married Lee Wright, 30, at Backworth Hall on 29 th June, 2019 N ewcastle Family Life blogger Lindsay met Lee back in 2011 when they were both working for the same company. “We decided to go out with colleagues for drinks,” remembers Lindsay. “Romance wasn’t on the cards for either of us, so we were surprised when sparks flew! We both knew we’d found someone special.” Five years and two kids later, Lee popped the question. “It was Lee’s birthday, and we’d just given him his presents when he announced he had a gift for me too,” continues the bride. “He got down on one knee in our living room and asked me to be his wife! I’d always said I didn’t want him to propose at home, but in the end, I’m glad he did, as it meant our children were there to witness such a special moment.” The couple decided to book their wedding two years in advance to manage their budget.
