Your North East Wedding - Mar/Apr 2019 (Issue 31)

Ormesby Hall Ormesby Hall, built in the 1740s, was constructed as a wedding present for James and Dorothy Pennyman, remaining the family home until 1983. A grand building situated in 200 acres of parkland, it offers a marquee within the landscaped gardens, while there are endless opportunities for photographs as your guests enjoy a drinks reception with garden games. The Entrance Hall is used as a unique location for civil ceremonies and can accommodate up to 80 guests. Wedding receptions then take place in the marquee, allowing for an assortment of themes and décor. Erected in 2017, the marquee is a permanent structure and can accommodate up to 150 people. As a blank canvas, couples are able to personalise the space and create their dream day based around their individual preferences. Ormesby Hall also works with a selection of caterers to tailor a couple’s dining experience around themselves and their guests. Ceremony licence?
