Nestled in wooded parkland on the outskirts of Darlington, between the North Yorkshire Moors and the Pennines, and only forty-five minutes from the historic cities of York and Newcastle, The Blackwell Grange provides a sanctuary, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. NEW & NOTEWORTHY Whether the bride and groom envisage saying “I do” in the newly-refurbished Bruhenny Suite, or the glorious garden gazebo, The Blackwell Grange Hotel has the potential to make their dreams reality. The Bruhenny Suite, after its recent facelift, is an airy room filled with natural daylight. A staircase within the room leads to the Bruhenny Bar, which has also been completely transformed. This magnificent suite can accommodate up to 130 guests by day and 200 by night. The George Allan Suite, with its traditional décor and looking south over the grounds, has direct access to the gardens and the venue’s stunning Wedding Gazebo, giving couples the perfect fairytale backdrop for those most important photographs. Along with private use of The Blackwell Bar, this suite can accommodate up to 70 guests by day and 110 by night. THE PERFECT PACKAGE The venue upholds a one-wedding-per-day policy. Couples will find both all-inclusive and bespoke wedding packages available, allowing them to create the perfect celebration. Wedding open evenings are held the last Thursday of each month from 6pm until 7.30pm. You will see one of the beautiful function rooms set and dressed for your perfect day.
