Your Midlands Wedding - April/May 2025 (Issue 97)

I wore a Badgley Mischka dress from Bridal Reloved Caistor as it was super sparkly and perfect for the Christmas season. I managed to lose one stone and nine pounds before the wedding, so I felt fabulous! The bridesmaids wore fishtail dresses, while the flowergirl looked beautiful in an ivory long dress with a bow detail, pearls and beads. Centrepieces were made from real foliage, berries, wine colour roses, twinkly lights along with two hurricane vases with floating candles. Instead of a formal table plan, we opted for something more festive. We placed personalised Christmas cards for guests along with their table name. We had a mirrored sign displaying ‘Wedding bells this Christmas time, your card from us shows where to dine.’ Adults received Christmas baubles filled with a festive shot with ‘We’ve tied the knot, take a shot’, while the children enjoyed sweets for favours. 34
