Your Midlands Wedding - October/November 2024 (Issue 94)

I opted for a minimalist approach to accessories, wearing Aaron’s late mother’s bracelet, my mother’s earrings as my something borrowed, and a ring I received during my Christening as my something old. Additionally, I adorned my hair with a simple pin. Aaron felt relaxed, happy, relieved and looking forward to the rest of lives together. One of my bridesmaids fell over as we approached the part where we actually walked up to the aisle. Thankfully, no one saw, and she was okay. I also had a stick-on bra, which got shaken off while I was jumping up and down dancing – oops! Our primary aim for the wedding was to keep things relaxed and informal; we wanted a laid-back, fun day surrounded by our loved ones. 34
