The ceremony stood out for obvious reasons! The smiles in the pictures show that it was the best part of our day. But those few minutes we had together after the ceremony were important. It just gave us a little privacy to be with each other on such a busy day and let it sink in. The rest of the day is a blur, but we remember being on the dancefloor all night. We loved the grandeur of Hodsock Priory and the amount of on-site accommodation as we wanted our wedding party to stay over. The venue’s spaces and grounds are so beautiful that it just seemed perfect. Our family and friends made our day extra special; we couldn’t have done it without them! When I first saw myself on the big day, I felt absolutely amazing. It’s such a shame it’s only for one day! I definitely want to do it all over just to look that good again. Honestly, we both felt relieved that the wedding was finally here so we could stop stressing about it. We were sad that it would be over in 24 hours, but we were mostly excited to finally marry each other. After talking about it for the last few years, we couldn’t believe it was finally here. Everyone was treated to Tristan’s musical stylings on the piano early in the evening – he was the perfect Elton John tribute act! 44
