Your Midlands Wedding - August/September 2024 (Issue 93)

same boutique a few months before. Emily checked out their Instagram page after hearing about her positive experience. She comments, “To my delight, I stumbled upon a dress that closely resembled the one I had adored during my initial dress shopping trip. I reached out to the boutique and tried it on a week later, and it fit like a dream – I instantly fell in love! The dress was so stunning that I only needed some simple pearl accessories from Kiri & Belle and shoes from Charlotte Mills.” The groom wore a tweed suit from House of Cavani adorned with burnt orange hues to complement the theme, while the bridesmaids looked stunning in silk slip dresses from ASOS. TIME TO CELEBRATE Guests had a blast with a vintage photo booth from Fells Fun Booth, which captured some hilarious moments throughout the night. The band was fantastic, too, kicking off the party with a conga line and a limbo competition. The couple was overwhelmed with joy! Emily couldn’t contain her excitement, “Being surrounded by all our favourite people in the world was beyond amazing. It’s a feeling unlike any other we’ve ever experienced. Seeing all our hard work coming together flawlessly after organising, planning and decorating was incredibly rewarding. Celebrating together and forgetting about everything else for the day was truly special. Our friend Dom was our toastmaster, and he did an outstanding job. He gave us the entrance of our dreams, made everyone laugh and was genuinely lovely.” The couple is filled with gratitude for everyone who made this day so special. HONEYMOON Straight after the wedding, the couple went on a mini-moon to Stipperstones in Shropshire. They stayed in The Bog, a stunning sky loft where they went on lovely walks and enjoyed their first few days of married life. The main honeymoon was around six months later, and they went to Costa Rica for three weeks. The couple planned the trip, driving to the best and most beautiful places around the amazing county. The locals are so friendly; they feel welcomed and safe. Plus, the scenery and wildlife are at the next level! For those who love an active, adventurous and animal-filled holiday, the couple would 100 per cent recommend the setting. They had the most fantastic time and didn’t want to come home!
