Look for an A-line dress and add a small hoop petticoat underneath to keep it slightly away from your legs so you can make some moves on the dancefloor. Chiffon is a very floaty, lightweight material that will glide around while you dance, whereas lace can be a little more structured but is still elegant and offers enough movement for dancing the night away. Deborah Marks www.heavenlyweddingbelles.co.uk www.salsabilmorrison.co.uk BEAUTY QUEEN How do I create a fresh-faced dewy finish for my summer wedding? I always tell my brides that creating a fresh and glowing complexion starts with good preparation. Here are a few tips to help you create a beautiful glow: Hydration – Glowing skin starts from within. Ensure you’re drinking three litres of water a day; this will flush out toxins and reveal a healthy glow that is difficult to create with make-up alone. Skincare – Take time to thoroughly cleanse, moisturise and protect your skin and add SPF in the morning. Exfoliating and using ‘harsher’ products should happen two to five times a week. Book in to see a skin specialist and follow their advice on specific products and treatments that are tailored to your needs. Make-up – On the big day, begin with your morning skincare routine followed by an illuminating primer, and buff this well into the skin. Follow with a light layer of foundation. Apply a creamy concealer to any areas that need a little more coverage and blend well. Add definition and dimension using a cream bronzer and blush. Finish with a liquid highlighter on your cheekbones and high points and lightly blend. Set your look with a generous amount of setting spray. Remember to keep your setting spray on hand to freshen up your look throughout the day! Sophie Sheridan www.bysophiesheridan.com 84
