Frankies Fancies provided a simple cake with cream buttercream and real flowers. The flowers were ivory and grey and tied in with the men’s suits. I chose heart plaques personalised with everyone’s names for the place settings so they could take them home as a keepsake. We had visited Hoar Cross Hall for my birthday and fell in love with it and knew when it came to choosing our wedding venue that it was the one. For our centrepieces, we opted for beautiful bay trees that lined the aisle. The ivory complemented our colour scheme, and as we wanted to keep things simple, they worked perfectly. Our favours were made by my mum. Together we run a small bath products business from home called L & G Soaps. She made soap and bath bombs in emerald green to match our colour scheme. 26
