Your West Midlands Wedding- April/May 2021 (Issue 73)
True love M icro-weddings have been slowly increasing in popularity in recent years and when the world suddenly changed in 2020, many couples’ plans altered with it. The past year has seen an explosion of smaller nuptials that refused to let the pandemic get in the way of their love. “I brought together a team of local suppliers to showcase the beauty of micro- weddings with a rustic, autumnal feel,” says photographer, Craig Clewlow. “Showcasing The Moat House, a beautiful Staffordshire venue, as the background for this styled shoot, all the suppliers got on board with the vision and worked hard to pull it together. From the elegant cake with delicate leaf detailing to the stationery and venue styling – even the florist went foraging in local areas and their own garden to use as much green foliage as they could. The photo booth blended into the scenery with ease, showing how fun elements can sit well within your theme. “The couple, recently married themselves, were dressed to impress, and the hair and make-up team really accentuated the bride’s beauty. The jewellery was the finishing touch, and when captured, the bride and groom were a vision to behold.” This styled shoot has it all from beautiful styling and red roses to a showstopping dress Images courtesy of New Road Photography 81 REGIONAL SHOOT
