Your West Midlands Wedding- April/May 2021 (Issue 73)

They say don’t work with kids. We sent our two pageboys down the aisle first with cute signs. We hadn’t told them what to do, so they just stood there at the top of the aisle for ages until someone moved them! Dan wanted a suit that resembled what David Beckham wore to Harry and Meghan’s wedding. He chose it from TDR Menswear Birmingham, and I purchased socks for all the men to wear with their roles written on. We bought the bridesmaids’ dresses from Sistaglam and the flowersgirl versions from Leila Rae. I found them on Etsy, and they were exactly what I wanted, and even better, they were a local business. The day didn’t feel real as it went by so fast. Everyone made it so wonderful and as special as they could. We had a lovely lady called Helen Barley play the harp during the ceremony. It was absolutely beautiful, and everyone thought it was a wonderful addition to the day. REAL WEDDINGS 35 
