Broadfield is situated in the rolling Herefordshire countryside at the end of a long, tree-lined drive. With 22 acres of grounds, including five acres of gardens, it’s a wonderfully private space for celebrations. As well as south-facing lawns, Broadfield has an orchard, rose garden, woodland and a kitchen garden where the team grow flowers for the house. The property has a tailored, flexible approach so that every wedding is different and is suited perfectly to the couple’s needs. The recently renovated country house has a beautiful interior mixing heritage design with modern touches. Parts of the venue date back to the 14 th , 16 th and 17 th -centuries, making it full of character and charm. All eight elegant bedrooms are included in the hire, as well as the stunning bridal suite, which has its own dressing room. Couples will receive exclusive use of the house and grounds for the duration of their stay. CELEBRATE IN STYLE The lovely inner hall and wood-panelled dining room can hold 50 and 60 guests respectively for the ceremony, or the upper barn can accommodate 100. The summer house is perfect for intimate ceremonies of six, or as a place to sign the register after an outdoor service. The licensed loggia and fold yard can seat around 200 loved ones or 160 under the canopy. The woods, rose garden, lawns and orchards are all beautiful areas for outdoor ceremonies of any number. For wedding breakfasts and evening receptions of over 70, a tipi or marquee can be erected on the south-facing lawns, which allows guests to enjoy the charming gardens. We love... Made up of traditional single-story red brick farm buildings adorned with climbing ivy and vines, the property has a paved courtyard reception area next to the large 1930s style farmhouse. Surrounded by open green fields, including a camping field and glamping orchard, the venue feels like a peaceful oasis but is only 10 minutes from Oswestry Town. CELEBRATE IN STYLE The venue currently isn’t licensed for ceremonies but will be from 2022. Unofficial services take place in the Promise Knoll in front of the farm or courtyard garden. The team are currently converting the stable block to create a rustic licensed ceremony space that will sit around 80-100 guests. Receptions take place in The Cow Barn (250), a large rustic brick barn with rich red walls, quirky wood-panelling, raw iron beams and a bar made from chunky oak bookcases. Late-night dancing happens in the Milking Parlour, a bohemian, festival-style lounge decorated with an eclectic selection of original farm fittings, old furniture, lamps and fairylights. We love...
