Your West Midlands Wedding- February / March 2021 (Issue 72)

Daniel and I chose gorgeous candelabra supplied by Ettington Park Hotel for our centrepieces. We had festive wreaths placed around the base of each which were beautifully crafted by Lemon Tree Flowers. Instead of a traditional cake, we opted for cupcakes from DaisyBlue BakeHouse. We chose a mixture of cho colate, vanilla and red velvet sponge topped with silver sprinkles. W e liked the style of a cupcake tower and how it looked in the room. For our table plan, we found a large decorative gold framed mirror and used a felt tip pen to write on it. Our favours were mini-jars of differen t flavoured gourmet jams from a lovely little Cana dian shop that has special meaning to us. We had per sonalised stickers made for the lids and placed them in w hite decorated boxes tied with gold ribbons We had beautiful flower runners place d along the top table and fireplace. I h ad a cascading bouquet with lots of Christmas foliage, black baccara roses, burgundy skimm ia, white lisianthus and white anemones from the Secret G arden. What attracted us to Ettington Park Hotel was its elegance and charm. We wanted to give our guests, who were travelling from all over the world, a traditional British experience. We started planning our wedding four months before the big day and were doing so on a budget, so when we saw that the venue had Christmas wedding packages, we were so excited. Ettington Park Hotel also provided our catering, which was high quality and perfectly planned down to the smallest details. 40
