I love this theme, and when my partner and I got married, I wanted a more chilled out vibe as I’d been married before and had the full traditional white wedding but it never really felt like me. The best advice I can give to any bride-to-be is to follow your heart. My favourite gowns are always the ones that are a bit different, so don’t be afraid to be you! A great way to achieve this is by building thin layers of liquid and powder products. Liquid/cream products will create a natural texture, and setting these products with a powder will keep your make-up in place all day. I know ladies with dry skin will be shuddering at the thought of using powder but gone are the days of chalky looking products! I love By Terry’s Hydra-Powder. It’s packed full of hyaluronic acid which will keep your skin fresh. This theme is inspired by nature and the outdoors. One of my favourite products to use for a gorgeous flush on the cheeks is Daniel Sandler’s Watercolour Blushers. Hues to choose from are earthy tones or soft rose petal hues. Pinks have always been one of my most requested bridal looks, as it’s very wearable and exudes femininity. I would also recommend keeping the eyes, cheeks and lips in the same colour family for a harmonised finish.
