I designed a sweet table with treats, wooden confetti and personalised bags. For the wedding breakfast, we had a sit down three-course meal then Mexican food for the evening reception which linked in nicely with our honeymoon destination. The cake was a four-tier ivory design from Pretty Fancy Cakes. It had matching flowers made out of icing, lace piping and a ribbon around the centre. Our table plan was a rustic white frame with a hessian background and white and gold cards. For our favours, we gave our guests sunflower seeds that they could plant on our first anniversary. We also provided slate coasters with their names engraved on. Everyone loved these and have used them in their homes following the wedding. I always knew I wanted to get married at Blakelands Country House. We visited when we got back from our holiday, and Lee quickly fell in love with it just as much as I did. We wanted something intimate, not too big with a lovely rustic setting, and it matched our dream setting exactly. Lee and I chose wooden logs with glass jars full of rustic blooms from Clare’s Weddings for our centrepieces. 42
