REAL WEDDINGS We had lots of foliage scattered throughout the venue as well as logs, fairy lights, hearts and lanterns. We also created a sweet table for our guests, a memorial sign and a homemade pallet with Polaroid pictures attached. It consisted of images of us together and as children. I wore an original design from Heavenly Wedding Belles called Jodie . I tried on around 60 dresses before going to the boutique. I didn’t want a normal gown that you see in every shop, but when I saw Jodie , it ticked all the boxes. The train was gorgeous, long and commanded the room. I loved the off-the-shoulder design, and the detailing was stunning. I accessorised with a pair of peep-toe sandals from Debenhams, a veil, droplet earrings, a hair vine and a crystal necklace. Ollie and his groomsmen wore the Westbury suit from Peter Posh. We wanted the men to wear blue, and we fell in love with the design. Westbury is actually the name of the village we moved to a year ago, so it made it even more personal. My best friend was my bridesmaid, and she opted for a red dress to complement the groomsmen’s suits. It was a simple and classic cut gown with a V-neck. To keep our guests entertained, we had a DJ in the evening. We had a mixture of music throughout the day but every song we picked we loved. The evening was one of the best parts of the day as we were finally able to relax without worrying about what was to come. My father and I had just descended the stairs, and my bridesmaid had made her way down the aisle when one of my best friends came barrelling through the door late! It was incredibly funny, and I insisted she go and grab a seat before I made my entrance. I could only imagine everyone’s faces as they were expecting me next! 43 
