32 Chrysler to pick him up and bring him to the venue on the morning of the wedding. “Food played a large part of our day,” says the bride. “We had canapés on the lawn, followed by an afternoon tea party and trio of desserts. In the evening, we opted for a barbecue and the Manor Hill House ice-cream trike. The weather was hot and glorious so we didn’t want anything too heavy but all our guests commented on how amazing the food was.” DRESSED TO IMPRESS Charley wore an Essense of Australia dress from Perfections Bridal Studio in Worcester. “I accessorised with blue heels and a hairpiece I found online,” says Charley. “I also wore my mum’s wedding earrings as my something borrowed. I didn’t wear any other jewellery as I loved my dress so much that I didn’t want to take anything away from it.” Daniel chose a grey three-piece suit from Harveys Formal Hire & Dry Cleaners. “He wore personalised cufflinks I had made for him telling him what time to be waiting for me at the end of the aisle,” explains the bride. “The groomsmen wore the same and looked great.” The bridesmaids opted for sky blue gowns from Chi Chi London. “They were the perfect colour for our day,” shares Charley. “I purchased matching earrings and asked them to choose their own shoes as I wanted them to be comfortable.” TIME TO CELEBRATE “Manor Hill House has a resident horse called Jack that all of the children loved playing with throughout the day,” shares Charley. “We booked a magic mirror for the evening which our guests loved. We ended the night with everyone outside for a sparkler walk through.” MEMORABLE MOMENTS “The day went by so fast, but it couldn’t have gone any better,” Charley shares. “I loved seeing our friends and families getting on so well and enjoying each other’s company in the sunshine. Dan’s speech was amazing. When he was talking about me becoming his wife, he said ‘we’re so alike, that I checked online that we weren’t somehow related’ and the whole room erupted in laughter. It was a very memorable part of the day.” The couple’s nearest and dearest made their nuptials perfect. “Dan’s best man, Phil, went out of his way to organise a special speech for Dan,” adds the bride. “He made a video of all our close friends congratulating us on our wedding, and it summed us both up beautifully.” 32
