One of those brides-to-be, Intensive Care Unit Nurse at Worcestershire Royal Hospital, Keren Long, is continuing to put plans in place for her wedding day, in spite of the daily heartache she faces on the front line. Emma Moffett, owner of Manor Hill House explains, “When you’re planning your big dream wedding, no one foresees a worldwide pandemic, such as COVID-19, to get in the way of the happiest day of your life. Obviously, it’s had a huge impact on our business but my heart really goes out to all the disappointed brides and bridegrooms, who have generally been planning to share their special moment with their friends and family for many months or years. We’re honoured to have bride-to-be, Keren Long getting married here at Manor Hill House next year and want to make it even more special for her, to thank her for all the amazing work she is doing to help save the lives of coronavirus patients at Alexandra Hospital & Worcestershire Royal Hospital. “There’s absolutely no reason that wedding planning shouldn’t be in full swing and we want to share that excitement with our couples through whatever way we can. Virtual tours, Zoom meetings and active social media, all help us to keep focused on what will be a joyous time.” For more information about how COVID-19 has impacted on the wedding industry and the support still available to plan beyond the crisis, please call 01527 861 200, email weddings@manorhillhouse.co.uk or visit the website www.manorhillhouse.co.uk AWARD WIN Precious Pets Weddings has recently scooped the prestigious Midlands Award for the Best Wedding Pet Chaperone in the Midlands at the LUXlife 2020 Global Wedding Awards, so you can be rest assured your dog is in amazing hands!
