Your West Midlands Wedding- April/May 2020 (Issue 67)

We had a copper frame we hired from our wedding planner with a Polaroid frame in for selfies. I’m a massive fan of accessories and wanted to create a few different looks throughout the day. For the church I had a cape that attached to the straps of my dress. The dress is so simple I felt I wanted the drama of a train for church but not a veil. I wore Anastacia shoes from Charlotte Mills and my hairpiece and matching earrings were from Kelly Spence. We hired a wedding planner Alice who pulled it all together brilliantly and was able to bring our vision to life. We had lots of pot plants, and three huge hoops for the ceiling of the marquee, these were made with artificial ivy and wisteria flowers. Everyone’s place names were made out of wood and sprayed gold so that they could keep them if they wanted to. Paul’s parents lived in the village so we had visited the church and had dined at The Kings Head several times. We always wanted to get married in a church and fell in love with this beautiful little church. The Kings Head is literally next door and it’s a traditional country pub with a lovely garden – and we already knew they did amazing food! REAL WEDDINGS 41 
