54 54 LOCAL INSPIRATION BACK TO NATURE A celebration of the great outdoors Images courtesy of Trove Photography D eborah Kellett of Definitive Weddings Eventz has recently started her business in the world of wedding décor hire offering large and small props for the bride and groom to enhance their special day. What better way to showcase her items, from love letters and blossom trees to flower walls and bespoke centrepieces, than with a styled photo shoot! “I’m situated in the Shropshire countryside and approached Dorothy Clive Garden to ask if I could join the venue’s recommended supplier list and also to style a few areas of the garden for a photo shoot showing some of my wedding décor items,” shares Deborah. “I approached a local photographer Amy at Trove Photography who jumped at the chance to come and have some fun taking shots one sunny Wednesday in August. “Dorothy Clive Garden is a beautiful outdoor venue with some breathtaking views with segments of woodland which give that romantic almost fairytale magical feel. I had a good walk around the gardens and opted for a rustic and vintage theme to the shoot to coincide with the landscape. I dressed the Belvedere Pavilion for an outdoor ceremony with vintage props, ladders, signage, birdcages with aisle stands hosting large martini glasses and blossom trees outlying the aisle. “The Bryan Mayer Pavilion is more of an indoor affair so we shot the large rustic love letters and dressed some tables with the vintage theme with blossom tree centrepieces and rustic log centrepieces with lanterns. “I included shots of the vintage bureau accompanied with props to help create that bygone era feel. ˝All the layouts are designed and created by myself and all props are owned by Definitive Weddings Eventz excluding the vintage crockery – I hope you enjoy!”
