This is why Helen Barley Harpist has started offering Hands-on Harp Experience for children at weddings. Seeing children at weddings getting rather bored has often led Helen, an experienced harpist, to offer them a chance to play on her harp, which is usually met with great enthusiasm. This has now developed further and Helen can offer the additional service of a hands-on harp experience for up to 10 children during the drinks reception with five small harps and another harpist to assist. Minimum age advisable is five-years-old. This activity lasts between 30 to 60 minutes and can take place wherever the photos are being taken, whether indoors or out. If preferred, the harp-playing can take place in a separate room, but at least one parent or guest would need to be with them. Fun is guaranteed with each harp shared between two children and songs tailored to their ages and preferences after consultation with the parents if desired.
