On-trend styling tips from the experts A ROOM WITH A VIEW On point for 2019 2019’s white wedding bubble is all about fresh blooms, lots of foliage and large oversized bouquets, as Tammy Weaver of TMS Events says, “When it comes to ‘foliage’ whether it be garlands, table arrangements or big displays focus on greenery. This is perfect for those with a botanical theme or, teamed with vibrant bold colours, it can definitely work for summer days. “Blossom trees are as popular as ever and continue to be on-trend for both this year and next,” continues Tammy. “With so many styles and colours available they continue to prove must-have wedding centrepieces and aisle décor items.  “Candles, candles and more candles: whether that’s floating candles in cylinder vases or pillar candles on mantelpieces and adorning the aisle they’re perfect to add extra ambiance at your wedding venue! “Finally, pink! It doesn’t seem that blush pink, soft pink, rose gold or dusky pink is going anywhere soon! Still so perfect for a summer wedding, these hues can also be teamed up with burgundy and plum tones for autumn/winter nuptials – this colour palette works all year round.” This year and next it’s also about keeping it simple, as Kerry Baskerville of Love Me Do adds, “My top tips for 2019 are to keep it clean and minimal; stripping ideas back to a very natural, romantic theme. Think: twinkling candles and lights mixed in with natural green foliage of ruscus and eucalyptus – teamed with white and ivory country flowers. Carrying the simple theme from the ceremony then on to the reception, keeps a continuous beautiful look.  “The main trending ‘accent’ colour is soft golds or rose golds, from table runners and tealights to charger plates and cutlery, it gives a sophisticated, stylish look. “Ceiling drapes, twinkling lights and candles – the more the better – can turn any venue into a special wedding setting. “For trends, blossom trees are big for 2019/20, as is the continuation of blush, rose gold, or vintage rose hues.
