In consultation with our brides, grooms and their families, Capriccio Quartet aims to offer a personally tailored programme of string quartet music, playing a repertoire ranging from the classical period through to more contemporary music. As a group of highly professional and adaptable musicians we are able to adjust to the particular requirements of your chosen venue including al fresco ceremonies, although we do ask to be provided with suitable shelter as rain and shade provide challenges to our valuable instruments. What can couples expect when booking you? Whether your get in touch by email or phone call I would be your first point of contact. I’ve been a member of the quartet since its foundation nearly 18 years ago. I will talk you through the whole process, from the initial enquiry, selection of music, ceremonial aspects and the final stages before your nuptials to ensure your music is of the highest quality and just what you want. I will take note of your musical preferences and, if necessary, guide you through choices based on my extensive knowledge of what works best in terms of timing and the mood, including the your favourite piece of music. What can you offer couples? We do realise that this is not necessarily at the top of your priorities when planning your wedding, but live music can transform the day! We can tailor the all-important walk up the aisle so that it’s well timed, respond to any last-minute changes and generally be flexible to suit your requirements. From the many letters and emails that we have received over the years from couples after the event, it is clear that the music we have provided remains with them and their guests as one of the most memorable aspects of the day. We’re very busy with many bookings for this year and next and we do recommend that you get in touch to discuss your requirements to avoid disappointment. The first question we are asked is the cost, which naturally is dependent on the length of time we’re required to play and the distance we need to travel.
