Our aim is to ensure every bride has a lovely time; recognising individuality, we work with everyone to find their perfect gown. Our hand-picked selection offers a variety of styles and shapes, and we encourage our brides to personalise their gowns if desired to create a bespoke look. I studied fashion at university and strive to provide an excellent service, the bridal industry meant I could combine these two passions. I started Caroline Clark Bridal Boutique after discovering my own experience of bridal shopping was lacking when I got married. I was really excited before dress shopping, however, after my first few appointments I realised the boutiques where more interested in figures than what I liked. The team at Caroline Clark Bridal Boutique consist of Linda (my mum) and myself, Caroline. As a family-owned boutique, the bride is always our priority. The favourite part of the job is seeing a bride discover her perfect gown, this is when she’s wearing it and her face will light up, she stands taller and exudes an air of excitement. This is why I do what I do, to make a bride shine with happiness. ...the designers. Our hand-picked dresses by internationally renowned wedding designers include fashion-forward styles by Stella York, silk, feminine gowns by Ivory & Co, and chic and stylish dresses by Romantica of Devon. For 2019, our designers have created some incredible numbers, my absolute favourite is Brittany by Romantica. A beautifully elegant satin ballgown with pretty plunge neckline and beading detail. ...price range of gowns. Our wedding dresses range from £600 up to £2,000 with the majority of gowns between £900 and £1,300. We also have a ready-to-go range of gowns which start from £300. ...accessories. Our selection of accessories includes veils, headpieces and jewellery crafted by Ivory & Co and Richard Designs. We believe accessories are the finishing touch for a wedding look. Simply changing a veil and headpiece can take a dress from boho to elegant. Our most popular veil is a two-tier sparkling veil with a delicate ribbon edge, and our most popular headpiece is a pearl and silver hairvine which works beautifully with up dos. ...appointments. As we are a small boutique, we request brides book their appointments in advance where possible. This allows exclusive-use and the time to consider choices. However, if we do have last-minute availability we will try to fit brides in. TOP TIP: Sometimes you don’t fall in love with a dress or know it’s the one the first time you try it on, or even the second time. There’s a lot to consider when wedding dress shopping, and it may take you a while to work out what you want. You may not know as soon as you first step in the dress, so if you don’t fall in love straightaway, don’t worry choose your favourites and try them on again.
