STEEPED IN HISTORY Venues with a story to be told  bymanos.com BIRMINGHAM MUSEUM & ART GALLERY A mere five-minute walk from both New Street and Snow Hill stations, Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery is a Grade I* listed building in the heart of the city. It’s attached to the Council House and is immediately recognisable due to its classical portico entrance and prominent clock tower. Ceremonies with up to 200 guests take place in the bright and airy Waterhall, which boasts high ceilings, Victorian architecture and walls adorned with fine art. Receptions at the venue usually begin with drinks in the Round Room, which features an ornate glass-domed ceiling. This is followed by dinner for up to 140 of your loved ones in the Industrial Gallery, before moving onto the striking Edwardian Tearooms, which can accommodate up to 250 partygoers for DJs, live music and dancing. We love... that The Waterhall and Round Room are adorned with fine art. It’s also possible to request a visit to the Pre-Raphaelite or Staffordshire Hoard gallery as part of your wedding reception.
