A magnificent lakeside drive leads up to the house comprising a charming courtyard, delightful lawns, woodlands, lakes and Tudor houses. The enticing 18 th -century Walled Garden is breathtaking, a feast for the senses and a perfect setting for a drinks reception and photography. The courtyard separating these buildings is another photo opportunity with stunning brickwork and outstanding original features surrounded by a historic moat. Ceremonies can take place either in the Great Hall or the Lily Suite. The Great Hall can accommodate 100 guests, the sweeping staircase, balcony and grand pillars are the main attraction inside this beautiful Georgian house. The Lily Suite is licensed for 60 guests and has beautiful sash windows overlooking the West Lawn, it’s flooded with natural light and in front of the original fireplace is the perfect location for vows. Receptions can also take place in the Great Hall which can comfortably seat 70 guests. However, both the Lily Suite and the South Dining Room can also be used for larger receptions seating 40 and 50 guests respectively. The South Dining Room is elegantly decorated with original style, fireplace and four grand sash windows, again allowing light to flood through. Alternatively, either rooms can be used for smaller, more intimate weddings. The evening festivities can have up to 200 attendees.
