What would you suggest? Gemma says: When it comes to al fresco weddings soft pastel hues spring into my mind – think pale corals or pinks on your lips and cheeks paired with a soft-toned ivory shimmer eyeshadow. Add a hint of definition to your eye sockets and a natural-coloured liner on the bottom inner lid. Keep your brows fairly natural and finish the look with some individual lashes. It would be a shame to heavily cover your beautiful olive complexion so I’d either airbrush using Mistair professional foundation for a natural flawless glow or for a lighter, dewy finish use the Bobbi Brown foundation stick in the correct shade for you. This would leave you with a natural soft finish – perfect for your big day. BRIDE AND BEAUTIFUL I really love the barely-there make-up style but I’m struggling to find nude colours to suit my skin tone. What would you advise? Bryony says: This is one of my favourite styles and it’s on-trend too. It’s a tricky look to pull off, especially on your wedding day as it can often leave you feeling a little ‘underdone’. I often recommend my brides pair the look with a rich-toned eyeliner buffed along the lashline or scatter individual lashes to add definition and a little more drama to this otherwise minimal style. Alternatively, if you’re more of a lip gal then opt for a bold colour and use your fingers to create a subtle stain, apply whatever is left onto the apples of your cheeks to make them pop. jessicaraphaelphotography.com
