Naturally minimalist A romantic botanical theme set the tone for Ayesha and Reece’s nuptials Images courtesy of Kayleigh Pope A yesha and Reece first met at school when they were 14-years-old. “I guess you can say we’re childhood sweethearts,” shares the bride. “At school we were as much best friends as we were a couple and I would say the same now.” Reece popped the question in the Peak District in January, 2013. “We were staying at a lake house called The Hideout and he had organised, with the help of my sister and brother-in-law, to set up a gazebo out on the lake decorated with voile draping, cosy pillows and candles,” shares Ayesha. “It had been snowing and was like a scene out of a romantic movie. When he got on one knee I was both shocked and thrilled. I was watching a man who I loved so much tell me he wanted to spend his life with me – it was perfect.” Here the bride tells us more about their special day...
