Your London Wedding - November/December 2024 (Issue 98)

Alex wore a natural, relaxed linen suit and looked extra handsome. The groomsmen wore similar colours, as did our one-year-old son. It was a more relaxed city wedding; everyone wore party clothes and did not disappoint! The bridesmaids wore their own choice of dresses but coordinated in rust, blush and rose tones. It brought us so much joy to have everyone together, especially since some of our family members live far away. The next day at The Ned London, we enjoyed the spa and realised that we were now married, it truly felt like a beautiful moment. As the wedding was on the wetlands, we were inspired by the local terrain and went for more wild greenery mixed with white flowers for our arrangements. As it was early spring, we were able to have white snowdrops. We left the venue exposed with the greenery and flowers being the only decorations. Borrowed Light did an amazing job repurposing the ceremony flowers for that table set up, and they created a wild meadow backdrop for the evening entertainment. Carday was our amazing singer and DJ. After the ceremony, she performed a fantastic soul and R&B set on the mezzanine during the drinks reception. She kept the energy high as our one-woman band throughout the evening, delivering two additional singing sets featuring house and club classics. We still receive compliments about her talent from our guests! I wholeheartedly recommend all our suppliers, especially our photographer! Her relaxed and friendly demeanour made us feel completely at ease. Despite the grey skies, she beautifully captured the warm and textured vibe we aimed for. 47 REAL WEDDINGS
