Our goal was to design a day that represented us, from the choice of venue to the music selection. We aimed for it to be a celebration that showcased our love and unique style. I would stroll by Clapton Country Club nearly every day, dreaming about possibly having my wedding there one day. When Jack and I visited the venue for the first time, we immediately cancelled our other appointments because we just knew it was the perfect fit! It was wonderful to see everyone having such a great time! We were fortunate to have 20-degree sunny weather in April, and everyone was savouring an Aperol in the sunshine. Jack is usually so calm, so it was a surprise when my mom walked in and exclaimed, “I’ve never seen Jack this nervous!” But when we looked at each other, all that anxiety melted away. I selected the Goldie dress by Grace Loves Lace because it perfectly combined simplicity with elegance. To complete the look, I added a pair of pearl earrings that my best friend had gifted me. 44
