She has a lot of practice and can capture a flattering likeness of even the squirmiest baby or rowdiest uncle. She can also work from photos if standing in one place for five minutes is too much to ask. When Jenny hands guests the finished drawing, the delight on people’s faces is priceless. Jenny says, “Portraits and wedding reportage illustration can fit around any structure of wedding day. Sometimes, I’m circulating during canapés or stationed in a corner with a table to fill a whole board or sketchbook with a record of the day. I work in colourful marker pen, elegant watercolour, or any medium the couple prefers in a postcard to poster size. What I don’t do is caricature or those illustrations that all look the same with different haircuts − I capture likenesses and moments.
