In the hours running up to the ceremony, we were both slightly stressed. However, we both felt relaxed and managed to enjoy each second of the event as soon as it started. We had a live singer for the ceremony, and then a DJ for the party who understood the assignment − every song played was a hit! The first goal was to have a great time with friends and family who couldn’t make it to the Caribbean, where our church ceremony was in July 2023. My family came from France for the London ceremony, we also wanted them to meet some of Yan’s loved ones they hadn’t met yet − all went seamlessly! The Stratford Hotel, where the Manhattan Loft Gardens are located, was the hotel of choice when I was visiting Yan in London when I lived in Paris. It’s forever part of our story; we believed it was the perfect location to celebrate our union. 34
