Your London Wedding - January/February 2024 (Issue 93)

We hired a red London bus to transport the guests between venues, which was a big hit! I travelled to the church in a vintage white London taxi with my parents before heading to our reception venue with Rob. The Bedford were really accommodating, allowing us to veer off their usual menu. We had sausage and mash with gravy for main followed by sticky toffee pudding for dessert. I fell in love with a classic and sleek dress with a bit of sparkle! The sleeves were detachable allowing me to have a different look for the evening. My veil was my something borrowed from my sister! I kept my jewellery simple with my gran’s drop earrings and LK Bennet floret heels in pale blue. Tied to my shoe was an enamel sixpence belonging to my granny. My hair was done by Lauren at Adam Alexander London. She knew exactly how I liked my hair and it was perfect in a half up style. It’s a cliché but I felt like a princess and held back tears once I was ready. 41 REAL WEDDINGS
