For our honeymoon, we went to South Africa for three weeks! We loved staying in Franschhoek at Babylonstoren, experiencing the wine region Cape Town, visiting the De Hoop Nature Reserve hiking in Plettenberg Bay and the safari in Kruger. We hired out the bottom floor of NOPI for the wedding breakfast, spread across two shared tables with huge centrepieces provided by the restaurant. The menu was sharing plates and, in true Ottolenghi fashion, was a delicious culmination of vegetables and fish. We sped off to Paris on the Eurostar for five days after our big day, which was brilliant as the city is one of our favourite places.
