After creating magical memories together, Andy popped the question. Lex says, “Back then, we were in the middle of sprucing up our house. Picture this: cramped up in one tiny room, using a makeshift kitchen and getting creative with outdoor ‘bucket’ showers. Let’s just say romance wasn’t exactly in the air. So, what went down next totally blindsided me! I walked in after a sweaty, dusty day at work and I couldn’t help but notice vases of flowers strategically placed all around the construction zone. As I ventured into the main room, Andy had turned the place into a floral wonderland, complete with twinkling lights and a sign that said, ‘You’re the bricks to my mortar’. Shock didn’t even begin to cover it ‒ I was so stunned and couldn’t even get a single word out at first. We were at our favourite rooftop bar an hour later, surrounded by our nearest and dearest.
