Made with love Discover all lovely things expertly made in London GIFT KENRICK, FOUNDER OF LOVE LANE LONDON LTD What do you offer nearlyweds? I noticed how most bridalwear looked the same when I got married, designed to be worn on the wedding day and left in the wardrobe to be forgotten afterwards. That’s when I had the idea to start a collection of sustainable bridalwear and accessories made to last and be worn again after the big day for eco-conscious brides after delicate and elegant designs. Love Lane London is part of the 1% for the Planet network and is a carbon-negative business through an offsetting scheme. What’s your favourite part of the job? I love helping brides look and feel beautiful on their wedding day by offering unique pieces that express their personalities, all with the comfort of knowing they haven’t caused any harm to the planet or exploited workers. What’s one piece of advice you can share with lovebirds? Let go of traditional expectations and be yourself! Your wedding celebrates your love, and every story is unique. So, ensure you both look and feel like yourselves on the big day. Check out: www.lovelanelondon.com MICHELLE KRAUSZ, FOUNDER OF KRAUSZ JEWELLERY What do you offer nearlyweds? I grew up surrounded by electric art, jewellery and vintage treasures. With a fashion designer dad and an artist mum who collected gemstones on their travels, studying fine jewellery seemed a natural choice. So, Krausz Jewellery was founded in 2002. I create one-of-a-kind bespoke jewellery, sourcing beautiful gemstones for clients to choose from. I bring clients’ visions to life for their wedding jewellery and can re-model heirloom pieces. The other part of my business expresses my passion for vintage jewellery. I make one-of-a-kind headbands, hair combs and earrings lovingly handmade using only the most exquisite original vintage materials from 1930 to 1980. Here at Krausz Jewellery, we always listen to what the client wants and focus on the smaller details to ensure they’re pleased with the finished piece. What’s your favourite part of the job? Working with clients to bring their jewellery ideas to life is the highlight of my job. What’s one piece of advice you can share with lovebirds? When commissioning or buying long-term jewellery, it’s best not to be influenced too much by fashion trends. They are great for ideas, but will you still love your rings in 10 years time?
