Tables were decorated with low level and tall floral arrangements, opulent candlesticks and gold reef glass charger plates and the luxury furniture added a romantic feel and a nod to the interior of the Gunnersbury Park Museum. “Suitcases were the inspiration for the cake as I wanted it to boldly reflect the Lagos to London concept,” says Cynthia. The four-tier design was complemented by an individual suitcase fondant cake. “The simplicity of the cream paired perfectly with the floral sheets and gold detailing brought the design together.” LOCAL INSPIRATION 75
