Yes, it was wonderful to finally be able to hug, see friends and family, go to a restaurant with more than a carefully selected group of six loved ones; but for me, the most important thing, was weddings were back! For 18 months I watched as an industry I loved – and have worked in for 18 years – was brought to a grinding halt, and without dwelling too much on it now we’re through the otherside, it was an emotional roller- coaster for all involved. Now, we can look to the future, and go back to the excitement of what it means to plan and attend weddings again: get those dancing shoes out, brush off those dance moves and get ready to p.a.r.t.y on that wedding dancefloor like you’ve never partied before! This issue feels like a true celebration, we have dream wedding venues on 17, dreamy dresses on 69 and food so good it’s surely what dreams are made of on page 89!
