Your London Wedding - Page number 56 - July/August 2021 (Issue 78)
Tell us about your company… I offer bespoke millinery headpieces for weddings, which are all designed and created in house to clients’ specifications. We also offer millinery events. Fabulous for hen parties, it allows guests to immerse themselves in beautiful fabrics, beads and trimmings to make a gorgeous fascinator to wear to the big day. What’s your most popular wedding product? My small lace headpiece with veiling, which is hand-beaded and very delicate. It’s ideal for the bride who wants something special without being too over the top. Why should couples choose local suppliers for their wedding? Especially after the pandemic, we all need to support our local businesses so they can build themselves back up. If we all went to big chains, the beautiful little boutiques wouldn’t survive. It’s important to keep bespoke businesses alive for future generations. What does your dream customer look like? Someone who wants a piece handmade especially for her, something that no one else will ever have. I particularly love vintage glamour for wedding; the 1920s to 1940s was such a romantic era. For every occasion, we offer contemporary yet timeless designs, from invites to set the tone, to magical on- the-day touches and beyond. What’s your most popular wedding product? The most popular stationery collections at the moment are those that create a layered look. Invitations, RSVPs and detail cards all stacked on top of each other set the scene for a stylish wedding as soon as guests open the envelope. Welcome signs are also a must-have item for the big day. Why should couples choose local suppliers for their wedding? While we offer a sample service, nothing beats meeting face-to-face for a coffee and a chat while browsing our collections. What’s your signature style? I love to create modern, refined designs for super-stylish couples who want a contemporary feel for their day. I’m a complete sucker for monochrome and neutral tones. We’re a multi-award-winning family- run company, which was founded by jewellery designer Stephen Tyler in the 1970s and is now run by myself and my sister, Stephanie. What’s your most popular wedding product? Wedding rings and diamond eternity rings are our most-loved products. We also offer a range of diamond jewellery to add some sparkle to a couple’s big day. Why should couples choose local suppliers for their wedding? We’ve been skilfully crafting diamond jewellery in our London workshop since 1979. Each piece is made to order, making every item as special as the love they represent. Shopping local enables products to be specially crafted to the budget and time frame of the customer. What does your dream customer look like? Our dream customers are couples in love who are looking to symbolise their eternity together with a ring (or two!). The tradition of exchanging rings begins the foundation of their happily ever after. Visit www.purelydiamonds.co.uk https://ohh sowild.com https://wes tlakephotography.co.uk 56
