ST PANCRAS CHAMPAGNE BAR AND BRASSERIE BY SEARCYS 020 7101 0220 | https://stpancrasbysearcys.co.uk WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT? In the heart of the redesigned King’s Cross in central London, St. Pancras Station opened in 1868 and is a wonder of Victorian engineering. With its Gothic architecture, it’s considered to be one of the most elegant stations in the world. The venue is home to the longest champagne bar in Europe, a truly romantic destination that’s the last stop before a Eurostar ride to Paris. Across the Brasserie, renowned designer Martin Brudnizki has set the scene for celebrations, with old station clocks, leather seating and private dining areas all whisking guests back to the roaring ’20s. The magical setting of the Grand Terrace on the Upper Concourse is under the building’s iconic arches and set against the famous artworks The Kiss and I Want My Time With You by Tracey Emin. LET’S CELEBRATE! Ceremonies take place here for up to 120 guests. Following the formalities, couples can welcome their guests with an opulent champagne reception and a wedding breakfast in the Art Deco-style Brasserie (180 guests). Searcys can host up to 400 loved ones on the Upper Concourse for the reception. Dancefloors with live bands and DJs can be set up at the venue, which has an entertainment licence until 3am. Micro-wedding packages are also available for smaller occasions, which are held in the Champagne Bar or the Brasserie’s private dining rooms. WE LOVE… Couples are offered a free menu tasting and a complimentary pre- wedding dinner to give a delicious introduction to what Searcys can offer. Minimum spend requirement applies. www.michellewoodphotographer.com DRAPERS’ HALL 020 7448 1324 | https://thedrapers.co.uk WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT? Found in the heart of the City of London, Drapers’ Hall provides a majestic big-day backdrop, which is steeped in history. On the site of the present Drapers’ Hall, once part of the Augustinian Priory, Thomas Cromwell built his palace in the 1530s. After his execution, the property was purchased by the Guild of Drapers in 1543 from Henry VIII. The venue boasts magnificent and opulent interiors to celebrate in. Couples will also love the garden, which provides a hidden oasis in the city for entertaining up to 180 guests. There’s also The Courtyard (150 guests), an alternative al fresco spot for receptions. LET’S CELEBRATE! The venue is not licensed for ceremonies, but offers an exquisite setting for receptions. The peaceful and elegant Drawing Room (100 guests) is the perfect place to welcome loved ones for a champagne reception. Richly decorated and visually dramatic, the Court Dining Room (120 guests) can be combined with the Drawing Room for larger gatherings. The venue’s in-house catering and dedicated team will ensure everything runs smoothly, and couples are treated to a free menu tasting. WE LOVE… Drapers’ Hall is instantly recognisable from films such as The King’s Speech and GoldenEye . www.michellewoodphotographer.com 20
