We wanted an informal vibe, the venue had to be fun and good for a party – The Rose fitted the bill perfectly. Our cake was designed to echo the pub’s décor – we added splashes of gold and gold dinosaur toppers. We had lots of balloons – mainly foil animals to tie in with our gold animal place holders – as well as a gold foil curtain. Many became people’s dance partners as the evening progressed! Adam designed all our stationery – we chose a spectacular pink and orange colour palette to fit with the brights theme. 46
