The Halfpenny London Sister collection is steeped in designer Kate Halfpenny’s signature ethos of versatility and individual expression and has something for everyone – from separates to dresses and even a jumpsuit. “They’ve all been designed to be worn on the wedding day and then incorporated into your wardrobe afterwards to wear again and again, styled in your own unique way,” says Kate. The collection will be sold exclusively online with three colour options available: Dirty Pink, Pewter and Navy. Bradley Deeming, stylist at London’s Salon64, has shared his predictions for the hairstyles we won’t be able to get enough of this year. “I predict 2020 will further push the year of the grunge,” says Bradley. “Undone and tastefully messy dos with a strong shape; 2019 heralded the return of all things 1990s and, I think, this trend will follow through to 2020 in a more Rock’n’Roll fashion. The ‘Shag’ haircut was a popular look in the 1990s and early 2000s. Maximum layers and choppy sliced ends worn in different lengths will take centre stage and replace or even evolve our current beachy looks. Currently at Salon64, I’m receiving several requests for more layers as well as a huge rise in curly fringes. This, for me, is the start of the ‘Shag’ revolution.” For more information on the salon, visit salon64.co.uk RELATIONSHIP HISTORY Hilton London Hyde Park has produced a new video to showcase its history and character. The film, which showcases the hotel past and present, stars Belgian couple Nadine and Daniel Ghys, regular guests who have been visitors to the Bayswater Road hotel for more than 25 years. The Grade II listed venue is built for grand romance with its stained-glass windows and prime location. “We wanted to highlight what an amazing building this is and its fantastic history but also how we strive to make this a home away from home for our guests,” said Rohan Poyrekar, director of operations at Hilton London Hyde Park.
