Your London Wedding - Jan/Feb 2020 (Issue 69)
KINDRED Located within the Grade II listed Bradmore House, Kindred blends elegant, modern design with sophisticated heritage touches. This reception-only venue’s impressive stately exterior, which dates back to the 1700s, sets the scene for an event to remember, not to mention providing a charming backdrop for those ‘just married’ shots. Inside, the Main Hall is ideal for receptions for up to 80 guests and features a large, suspended chandelier, open fire, reclaimed wood floors and high-arched Georgian windows. The Library, meanwhile, is a cosy space for up to 30 loved ones while The Salon can be converted into a pop-up bar and dancefloor as evening falls. Ceremony licence? No – but watch this space! Think exposed concrete ceilings, wooden floors, copper fittings and bright, white walls. There’s a number of ceremony spaces on offer here, from the capacious Copper Suite, which seats up to 60 guests, to the more intimate Rose Gold Room where 12 loved ones can look on as you say ‘I do’ and the Register Office, which seats four nearest and dearest. And while there are no spaces for a wedding breakfast on offer in the building itself, the borough’s wide variety of venues large and small are at your disposal for the festivities after you’ve said ‘I do’. Be sure to stop off at Ravenscourt Park en route to take advantage of its picturesque walled gardens for those ‘Mr & Mrs’ pics. Ceremony licence?
